Florida Georgia Line Are Back in the Studio
Florida Georgia Line are back in the studio. The country duo shared a photo of themselves, hard at work on their fifth album, on Monday (Nov. 18).
"Guess who's back in the studio?!" FGL wrote in the caption of their Instagram pic, which shows the duo's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley smiling for a selfie. They're seated at the control panel of a recording studio, and the photo is hashtagged with "#record5," "#letsgooooo" and "#newmusic."
Florida Georgia Line released their most recent album, Can't Say I Ain't Country, in February. They followed the gold-certified, No. 1 record with an acoustic compilation project, The Acoustic Sessions, in October.
Can't Say I Ain't Country's first single, "Simple," hit No. 1, while its follow-up, "Talk You Out of It," peaked just outside the Top 10 (No. 11). FGL's current single is "Blessings."
Florida Georgia Line spent their summer on the road, for their Can't Say I Ain't Country Tour. The trek featured Dan + Shay, Morgan Wallen, Canaan Smith and Hardy as special guests, and was their highest-grossing tour to date.
Outside of their work as a duo, FGL's Kelley is working on a new country musical, while Hubbard and his family recently welcomed a new addition: a baby boy named Luca. Beyond their time in the studio, the pair are keeping their 2020 plans under wraps for now.
