The term "Finder's Keepers..." doesn't apply to credit cards that don't belong to you, no matter how they end up in your possession.

Stafford Township Police say back on July 9th, the department "received a report of a stolen purse, where the suspects later used the victim’s credit cards at several locations in Manahawkin and Forked River including Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart."

An investigation by police detectives found that the victim has dropped her wallet in the parking lot of Carolina Select Furniture in Waretown. The wallet was recovered and several credit cards were used for fraudulent purchases, totaling over $9,000.

Police say surveillance footage was posted on their Facebook page, and ultimately two suspects were identified and some of the merchandise purchased with the cards was recovered.
