Galloway Boy Out Of Spelling Bee

The Scripps National Spelling Bee continues today in Washington D.C. Despite spelling all three of his words correctly yesterday, our local contestant, Ebose Eigbee of Roland Rogers Elementary in Galloway, is out of the competition.

Eigbee didn't fair well enough on a prior written spelling test to advance to today's semifinals

Eigbee won the South Jersey Spelling Bee earlier this year in a competition held at  Absegami High School. The local Spelling Bee was sponsored, in part, by Cat Country 107.3 and Townsquare Media.
