A 33-year-old Galloway Township man has lost his life in a traffic accident in Montana.

NJ.com is reporting that Benjamin Clayton lost control of an SUV on a curve, struck some trees, and the vehicle rolled 300 feet down an embankment.

NJ.com quotes the Montana Highway Patrol as saying that a 29-year-old female passenger managed to crawl out of the vehicle and call 911. She is identified in the story only as being from Galloway Township as well.

The crash happened Saturday night in an extremely rural area, 40 miles south of Hungry Horse, Montana.

The accident remains under investigation.
