Jersey Shore Police Rescue Loose Pig And Name it ‘Pork Roll’

Oh the irony...but at least they admit it too! The Neptune Township Police department poked fun at the 'pig' joke when finding a lose hog roaming around a local Dunkin Donuts between Rt 33 and 35.

Though the hog was taken to the Monmouth County SPCA where he was later picked up by it's proper owner, the po-po decided to name the animal 'Pork Roll' after taking him in for questioning while also offering him a position as their new mascot.
