I'm here in Wildwood! I'll be updating this often with my thoughts and such!

*We're on the air in Wildwood! What a BEAUTIFUL Morning! We are live at the Adventurer Motel and Restaurant. Come and see me this morning!

*I walked on the boardwalk last night here in Wildwood. When I met with Kenny Chesney Saturday he talked about how such a slice on Americana Wildwood is. He was certainly right!

*I have food named after me! Here at the Adventurer, they are offering the "Joe Kelly Meat Lovers Omlette!" I am not worthy! Too bad I'm a vegetarian.... KIDDING

*They still have rooms here for tonight for as low as $150 FOR 4 PEOPLE.... INCLUDES Free Parking! Call them, tell em I said to call. 609-522-0029

*If you are coming to the concert tonight, parking will be your biggest challenge

*It's going to be HOT! Sunscreen. Water!

*A Beautiful Sunrise in Wildwood right now!

*I just had the "Joe Kelly" Omlette here at the Adventurer Restaurant. Yummy!

*We are selling Cat Country T-shirts here today. We don't do that very often. Get `em while you can!

*It's 715 am and Wildwood is already humming. There is excitement here!

*I spoke with Tim McGraw at their Philly show Saturday.... he said he wasn't coming to Wildwood. I believe him....but, you wonder if Kenny will have any special guests show up.

*Wildwood officials have the entire beach blocked off near the concert area. If you don't have a ticket, you will not get close. Again, they say if you don't have a ticket, stay home and watch it online. All the info is on our website, of course

* On my drive down here last night, I listened to Chesney's new CD "Welcome to the Fishbowl." Good stuff!

*Can't stress this enough - If you're coming for the afternoon, wear sunscreen. If you plan to knock back some adult beverages....pace yourself - don't flame out before the concert

*Stayed here at the Adventurer Inn last night. They have very nice people here! Great food in the restaurant. Important things that I look for in a hotel were here: Great Water Pressure in the Shower... and big, soft towels!

*Questions that have been asked this morning here at our live broadcast: "How can I get tickets?" "Will Georgia be down here today." "Is Kenny Chesney going to be down here this morning." "Where's the library?"

*8:05 - Everyone is talking Kenny Chesney. And, no, we don't have anymore tickets....

*Are you reading this? The next 3 people who come to my broadcast table here at the Adventurer and mention this blog get a free copy of Kenny Chesney's new CD, "Welcome to the Fishbowl>" Good luck!

* Guy on bike just rode by, with one of those kid trailers attached to the back. He did a wheelie in front of our tent. Kid bounced around, almost fell out.... yep yep yep

*I grabbed a sandwich from Subway last night. Thought for a moment about robbing the place. At the last minute, I nixed the idea..... I remembered I'm not a criminal.

* In the last 10 minutes 2 kids on bikes have wiped out in front of our Big Cat. So, it's not just cars that crash....

*No, we don't have concert tickets.....:)

*99.9% of people we've seen this morning have been very friendly. Then, there are those you say, "Good Morning" to, and they completely ignore you. "Parlez Vous, Francais"

*Thanks to John Lynch and everyone from the Wildwood Convention Center, Such nice folks!

*John says he can confirm that it's just Kenny Chesney tonight..... no special guests

*Wrapping up our broadcast here. Georgia and Chris will be live from Morey's Piers. My search for a parking space to begin soon!!

*11:30am - At Morey's Pier....Georgia's broadcasting live from here today...Chris Coleman will be here starting at 3. We'll also have our Fun & Games crew near the concert site very soon

*People already camped out to be the first in line once gates open at 7,

*Parking lots are expensive, as expected. Most lots near the boardwalk are priced at $50-$75 for the day/night. I did find free street parking about 5 blocks from boardwalk, Lots of metered spaces open. Bring lots of quarters.

*No, we don't have tickets:)

*1:30 Heat! It is hot! People already trying to lineup on boardwalk at entrances, but security is discouraging it. It really is too hot to be standing on the boards all afternoon. You have a ticket - you will get in -stay in the shade. I walked up and down the boards in front of the concert area - people are so nice:) thank you!

*We've all discovered pretty quickly that Morey's Piers has some great food places.

*No, all the tickets are gone......:)

*2:45 People  say traffic coming into Wildwood still pretty light. It really is too hot to just stand around and wait all day.

* A couple close encounters but I've yet to be stuck by a tram car.

*Need ice cream cone soon.

Lines are getting longer. It won't be long now. Thank you, Wildwood! John Reed in for Whitney
Tonight. Call him after the show and let him know how it was. 609-370-1073.
