Las Vegas Man Arrested On Weapons Charges in Wildwood
A handgun and hollow point bullets were found to be in the possession of a Nevada man who was stopped for a traffic violation in Wildwood early Sunday morning.
Wildwood Police say they conducted a traffic stop just after 2:30am on East Maple Avenue after witnessing the driver commit a number of infractions.
The driver, Thomas Miller, 26, of Las Vegas, Nevada, "was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated and was subsequently arrested."
According to police a search discovered Miller to be in possession of "a .380 caliber handgun loaded with hollow point ammunition. An additional magazine loaded with hollow point ammunition was located in the center console of the vehicle."
Miller was booked onto the Cape May County Jail and faces a number of charges.
