Make Way For Gritty! The Philadelphia Flyers’ Caravan Invades North Wildwood Tuesday
Forget the tramcar! Watch out for Gritty, please!
Who said Gritty doesn't love summer? You'll have the chance to say hi to the loveable orange monster we get to call ours as the Philadelphia Flyers Community Caravan will make its way down to North Wildwood from Philadelphia on Tuesday, July 20th for a little parade to get South Jersey's hockey fans pumped up for October.
The folks over at North Wildwood Recreation and Tourism have shared a post to Facebook alerting residents and all those from the surrounding areas that they're invited to come take in the parade. It's set to kick off around 5 p.m. tonight near 1st and New York Avenue in North Wildwood. It's a pep-rally on wheels!
All fans are invited to come decked out in your Flyers' best and hang out with the Fly Guys' In-Arena Host, Andrea Helfrich, along with some Flyers Alumni and the Flyers Ice Team. You don't even have to ask - it's already been guaranteed; of course, Gritty will be there, too! This is just the first stop of the summer for the caravan as they've announced even more dates at various locations in Flyers territory throughout the summer.
