Man Shot and Killed in Pleasantville Thursday Afternoon

One person is dead after a shooting in Pleasantville Thursday afternoon.

The website BreakingAC.com reports that a man was fatally shot.

Meanwhile, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says its Major Crimes Unit is investigating a death that occurred. Prosecutors say they the Crimes Unit and Pleasantville Police were on the scene in the 100 block of Linden Avenue. They responded to the scene about 3pm Thursday.

Prosecutors have not released any more information, including the identity of the person who died.
