Man Shot in Back of The Head in Bridgeton

Bridgeton Police are trying to find out who shot a man in the back of the head.

Police say just after midnight Tuesday morning police were called out to Grove Street for the report of a gunshot victim.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his head. Police learned that the man was banging on the door of the residence, begging to be let inside. Once in the home, he collapsed on the floor.

He was transported to Cooper Hospital, where he continues to be treated.

Police are asking anyone with information in the case to come forward and contact police through the Tip411 system. All information is confidential.
