Man Shot in Face, Dog Shot and Killed in Vineland Home Invasion

Police in Vineland are investigating a home invasion and shooting that happened early Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of Sunset Avenue.

Police say a man was shot in the face and a dog was shot and killed. A female resident who was home at the time was not injured.

Police say the man was shot one in the face, and at last check was in critical but stable condition at the hospital.

 Detectives have been in the area conducting the investigation and gathering evidence from the scene since the incident occurred. There is currently no description of the accused subject(s) to release. Detectives are currently looking to speak with anyone in the area of Sunset Ave, N.
