Mays Landing Man Wanted for Aggravated Assault, Weapons Offenses

Hamilton Township Police are asking for your help in locating a man wanted for aggravated assault and weapons offenses.

Cops say on Monday, they received a report of an aggravated assault. An investigation determined that 28-year-old Steven Banks of Mays Landing was fired multiple shots from a handgun as the victim was driving away on the unit block of Farragut Avenue. The vehicle was struck by gunfire; the victim was not hit but was injured by broken glass.

Banks is currently wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Hamilton Township Police at (609) 625-2700.
