Middle Township Neighborhood Evacuated as Man Barricades Himself in House

Some tense moments in the Del Haven section of Middle Township yesterday, as a man barricaded himself in his house.

According to Middle Township Police, shortly after 11am, they responded to a home on Millman Boulevard to check on the well-being of a resident.

When they arrived, Andrew Walker, 30, or Del Haven refused to come outside, and officers quickly evacuated the area, fearful that the man may have access to guns.

Thankfully, after a short amount of time, after a short time Walker left the home and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
