Middle Township Police Catch One, Lose One in Foot Pursuit

A busy Friday night for officers from the Middle Township Police Department.

Police say a motor vehicle pursuit started in Lower Township and ended in the Whitesboro area. The chase ended near the Hillside Motel, with the driver and at least one passenger running into nearby woods.

Officers spent the evening searching in the area of Scott Street, Matthews Avenue, and George Street.

This morning, police say they were able to catch a passenger, but the driver of the car still remains at large.

Local residents are asked to report any suspicious persons in the area to police at 609-465-8700.
