For an Atlantic County contractor, the dream is now his reality. After playing a game of Texas Hold 'Em at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, he hit the jackpot winning over a million dollars. According to a casino press release, the man only identified as James, was clearly stunned once he realized what had happened.

When asked how he felt about scoring that much money, James said,

"It is surreal to have hit a $1.3 million jackpot, especially because playing cards is a little different than laying pipe...."

James hit the jackpot once the casino started dishing out a ton of jackpot money Sunday (October 11th) with Hard Rock paying out over $1.6 million since.

It's hard to even fathom all the thoughts that were running through James' head once the dust settled and he had to deal with the reality of the situation. His family would be thrilled, for sure. When asked what he plans to do with the money, he said,

“We plan to take care of our family, put money away for our kids and my wife deserves a nice trip.”

The HVAC contractor, according to the Courier Post, picked up one of Hard Rock's largest jackpots in the history of the casino. To say luck was with James this weekend is, quite obviously, a major understatement.
