The Atlantic County Office of Mosquito Control has scheduled an aerial spray for portions of Hamilton Township for Thursday evening, September 24th.

Officials say the application will take place, weather permitting, between 5:30 and 7PM. The areas to be treated are bounded by Columbia Road, the Atlantic City Expressway, Watering Race Branch, and Cypress Street. A map of the area can be found on the county's website.

Duet HD, the trade name for Prallethrin and Synergized Sumithrin, will be applied as an ultra-low volume aerosol, according to a press release.

According to the county, the Environmental Protection Agency does not require people to relocate or take special precautions during mosquito control spraying. The public may choose to avoid or minimize exposure by staying indoors during the application and do things like keep children's toys, and pet bowls indoors.
