Mullica Twp NJ Man Gets 3 Years For Sexual Conduct With Child
A Mullica Township man is headed to state prison after being sentenced for a crime he pleaded guilty to - Endangering the Welfare of a Child by Sexual Conduct.
Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill says Anthony J. Perona, 68, was sentenced Thursday to serve three years in the state prison system.

Persona had made his plea in August, shortly after his jury trial on several related charges had ended with a hung jury.
According to Shill, Perona " acknowledged engaging in sexual conduct with a juvenile female known to him which would tend to impair or debauch her morals. The conviction also subjects the defendant to Parole Supervision for Life, Sex Offender registration pursuant to Megan’s Law and also be subject to a Sex Offender Restraining Order, prohibiting any form of contact with the juvenile victim."
