The new Chick Fil A restuarant in Egg Harbor Township is open today!

The location is the Oak Tree Plaza, in front of the Walmart, on the Black Horse Pike at Fire Road.

Yesterday, in anticipation of the opening, Chick Fil A held its "First 100 Road Trip." The first 100 people who regustered had a chance to win free Chick Fil A for a year - after a road trip throughout the local community.

I had a chance to participate in the Road Trip - and, I had a blast!

We started out with some fun, game, and team-bonding exercises in the new Chick Fil A parking lot. From there, we walked over to Walmart and did some shopping!

We were split into three groups. One group bought items for a Chick Fil A employee, who's family lost their home in a fire. Another group bought items to be donated to Robin's Nest, a local charity. The third group - my group - bought dog toys to be donated to the EHT dog park!

After the shopping, we boarded our buses. First stop: the Trampoline Park in Mays Landing! We did some serious bouncing and ate lunch. (What would you're mom say about that combination?)

Next stop was the Egg Harbor Township Dog Park, where our group helped rake leaves.

Another fun stop was next: The Euro Sports Center in Egg Harbor City. After a presentation about Robin's Nest, we played some games, and got real tired and sore!

We wrapped up the day back at Chick Fil A, where everyone received their Free Chick Fil A for a Year, and had dinner.

All in all, a great, fun day spent in the community!

Now, who's hungry!

Below are some picture from this fun day.
