Ruth's Hallmark on Almonesson Rd. in Deptford may have closed in February, but that's not the end of the road for Hallmark in that space. Norman's Hallmark is reportedly set to move in just in time for Christmas!

I must confess, I do LOVE a good Hallmark store. It's always so festive. And when you walk into one, particularly a Norman's Hallmark, you can just feel they're the authority on greetings and gifts.

It's probably the ONE store where I forgive early celebrations of holidays like Halloween and Christmas. I usually don't like to RUSH those things. But the minute Hallmark introduces new ornaments for the season, I'm in there browsing. I can't help myself.

So, it's good to see a Hallmark store returning to The Court at Deptford (near Party City and Hobby Lobby, behind Olive Garden). According to 42 Freeway, Norman's Hallmark plans to occupy the space as early as the end of September and is already in the process of hiring associates. Store manager Melissa Mangiaracina seemed to confirm the news on Facebook.

Norman’s Hallmark Greeting Cards and Gift has many locations in New Jersey and in Pennsylvania, including inside Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. This new Deptford store will be a full Gold Crown “Rewards” Store, 42freeway.com reports.
