New Jersey Restaurant Makes Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese Pasta
Pork roll popcorn exists and so does pork roll pizza. Now pork roll, egg, and cheese pasta is something you can get your hands on in New Jersey. Does it get any better than this? The answer is no, it doesn’t.
Osteria Crescendo has innovated a pasta dish that will satisfy the biggest pork roll fan’s appetite. Let’s just address the elephant in the room before we get into this, they call it Taylor Ham. The restaurant is located in Westwood, New Jersey so of course they would call it Taylor Ham.
The Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese Tagliatelle or also known as TEC. It’s served as a brunch item at the north Jersey restaurant. It starts off with cooking the pork roll with an egg, they then add in their homemade pasta. Shredded cheddar cheese gets mixed in to finish off the cooking process.
They swirl some ketchup, yes ketchup, on the plate before playing the TEC Tagliatelle. Topping the dish is a poached egg yoke to be broken by the diner.
