Nine people have been arrested for prostitution related offenses in South Jersey.

Following an investigation by the Absecon Police Department, with the assistance of the FBI Innocence Lost Task Force, a sting was conducted, which resulted in three people being charged with promoting prostitution,  and five being changed with solicitation for prostitution. In addition a 17 year old from Glouceter County was located and returned to her family.

The investigation stemmed from women using classified ads to make contact.

According to the Absecon Police Department, the following were charged:

Rachel Huff, age 19 from Little Egg Harbor Twp. She was charged with solicitation for prostitution. Huff was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an unrelated matter out of Pleasantville.
Alfred Curcione, age 60 from Little Egg Harbor Twp. He was charged with promoting prostitution. Curcione was released on his own recognizance.
Laura C. Semprevivo, age 22 from Little Egg Harbor Twp. She was charged with solicitation for prostitution. Semprevivo was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an unrelated matter out of Atlantic City and Ocean County.
Allan D. Packard Jr, age 31 from Millville. He was charged with promoting prostitution. Packard was released on his own recognizance.
Courtney A. Robinson, age 23 from Sacramento Ca. She was charged with solicitation for prostitution. Robinson was released on her own recognizance.
Amber R. Gaines, age 22 from Los Angeles Ca. She was charged with solicitation for prostitution. Gaines was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on an unrelated matter out of Atlantic City.
Harrell L. Davis, age 30 from San Francisco Ca. He was charged with promoting prostitution. Davis was released on his own recognizance.
Ashly N. Caruso, age 18 from Williamstown. She was charged with solicitation for prostitution. Caruso was released on her own recognizance.
17 year old female from Gloucester County was located and returned to her family.

The joint investigation involved the Absecon Police, New Jersey Department of Human Services Police, Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department, Atlantic County Prosecutors Office, Egg Harbor City Police and the Innocence Lost Task Force. The police department plans additional stings throughout the year to combat this growing problem.
