Official List Released - One JCPenney Store Set to Close in New Jersey

As reported earlier, JCPenney will be following in the footsteps of Macy’s and Sears when it comes to closing some of its stores. The official list of which stores closing has been just released by the company.

JCPenney has 1,014 stores nationwide and 14 locations in the Garden State. According to the press release from JCPNewsRoom.com, the only store that will be closing in New Jersey is the Rio Grande location in the Rio Grande Plaza.

Locations in Mays Landing, Cherry Hill, Deptford and Toms River will remain open.

A total of 138 JCPenney stores will be closing nationwide including the Philadelphia Mills location in Philly and at the King of Prussia Mall.

Stores will begin the process of shutting down starting April 17th.
