One Arrested in Egg Harbor Township Stabbing

One man is under arrest for the stabbing of another in Egg Harbor Township.

Police say Abdul Nasir, 36, of Pleasantville has been arrested for the stabbing of Robert Ford, 35, also of Pleasantville.

Authorities responded to a home just after 9am Sunday morning to find Ford suffering from two stab wounds to his mid-section. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Nasir has been arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault, Burglary, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes. Nasir posted bail, pending  a court appearance.
