One Dead in Sunday Morning Crash in Absecon

One person is dead as the result of an early Sunday morning accident in Absecon.

Absecon Police say the  the crash happened at 2:30am on S. Shore Road and Dr. Ruppert Drive

Police say, "The vehicle left the roadway, went airborne, and then struck a tree."

One person was killed in the crash.

UPDATE: Absecon Police have identified the victim as Glen Mclean, 44, of Pleasantville.

The accident remains under investigation. Police say speed appears to have been a contributing factor.
