From scantily clad women to steaks -- the site of a former gentleman's club in Mays Landing will soon be serving-up steaks and shrimp.

According to Shore News Today, Outback Steakhouse has been given a green light by the Hamilton Township Planning Board to build a new restaurant at the site of the old Volcanic Eruptions club on the Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing.

The club, which was purchased by DDR Hamilton Commons (the owners of the shopping center that surrounded the old building) purchased the property at the end of 2015 for $925,000 and quickly bulldozed the structure. The property has sat empty since.

The newspaper reports the restaurant will be 6,700 square feet and have seating for 240 people and could be open by the end of this year.

There's no word if the new Outback Steakhouse in Hamilton Township will co-exist or lead to the closure of the Outback Steakhouse in Egg Harbor Township.
