Parkway Construction Noise Keeping You Awake At Night?

If you live in the Egg Harbor Township and Pleasantville areas, you're no doubt finding out what other residents near the Garden State Parkway have known for years: Parkway construction often goes on 24 hours a day.

That "bang bang bang bang bang bang ....." sound doesn't seem like it's ever going to stop, does it?

Actually, it might not. Work between exits 36 and 38 is expected to last a couple of years.

This morning - at 4am - I recorded the sounds of the Parkway construction a few hundred yards away from the Parkway, at the WAWA on the Black Horse Pike near Fire Road.
