Pedestrian Killed in Absecon Traffic Accident

A woman is dead as a result of a traffic accident on the White Horse Pike in Absecon late last night.

Officials with the Absecon Police Department say 24 year-ol Shabritta J. Downing of Washington DC was struck and killed by a car after 11p.m. last night at the intersection of Route 30 (White Horse Pike) and Mill Road.

The driver of the vehicle, 29 year-old Lindsey M. Marchesani, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, was not injured.
