Pleasantville Man Killed When Car Hits Steamroller
An accident early Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Pleasantville man.
NJ.com is reporting that a pickup truck driven by Walter Joya, 30, of Pleasantville, struck a steamroller that was being used to pave a portion of Route 9. The accident occurred at 1:20am, according to Pleasantville Police.
The roadway had been closed at the time of the accident.
Authorities say the driver of the steamroller was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other crash details have been made available.
