According to NJ.com, gunfire broke out in the early hours of the morning. The bullets reportedly hit a dwelling and a vehicle, but not much else has been discovered as of yet. No more information has been discovered, but one thing that is a certainty is how lucky whomever fired the shots is to not have hit someone. The shooter's intent is obviously unknown since no one has yet been identified.

The police know about the apartment and the vehicle being struck since they were able to locate bullet casings nearby as well as the holes from where the bullets hit. With that information being the only few facts police have to go on, they had no other choice but to open it up to the public. One would imagine, given their search for information, that the trail may have run cold at this point for the Bridgeton PD, so anything you or someone you know may be aware of that could help them would presumably be greatly appreciated.
