Police Participate in Memorial Honoring Late Somers Point Boy

The Somers Point Police Department was proud to be a part of the New York Avenue School's opening of their newest addition: The Butterfly Garden

The garden was officially opened this past Saturday on June 9, 2018 in memory of Wyatt Hopkins -- a student of the school who passed away suddenly last Halloween just before his 5th birthday, according to Ocean City Sentential

The police department took part in donating, and laying down sod around the garden before the ceremony.
