One year after losing his life in a traffic accident while on duty, Trooper Frankie Williams was fondly remembered by many Tuesday.

Williams had only been a State Trooper for a short time, but his co-workers remember his service as being marked with "loyalty, fearless performance of duty, and faithful and honorable devotion to the principles of the New Jersey State Police."

Many also knew Williams from his 7-year-employment run at Lowe's Home Improvement of Egg Harbor Township.
