Say Goodbye to This Avalon Bar Forever
After 96 years, the building that most recently houses the bar called 'Jack's Place' has officially been demolished.
A watering hole beloved by locals and shoobies alike, Jack's Place closed its doors in 2017, and now, two years later, the building is no more. Many establishments have called 36th and Ocean Drive home over the years, but Jack's Place was the last. Seven Mile Times took to Facebook to document the event.
NJ.com reports no plans have been made for a new building or new establishment to replace the old structure.
