As the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots both pass the $400 million mark, one lucky person in South Jersey just won $10,000 playing the lottery.

Officials with the New Jersey Lottery say there was one third-tier winning ticket sold for the Friday, January 1st, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball -- that ticket is worth $10,000.

That ticket was purchased at Food Station on Elm Ave. in Woodbury Heights, Gloucester County.

In addition to the $10,000 winning ticket, over three dozen players matched four of the five white balls drawn making each ticket worth $500.

The winning numbers for the Friday, January 1st, Mega Millions drawing were 08, 24, 53, 68, and 69. The Gold Mega Ball was 07, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

Since just before Christmas, South Jersey has seen its share of big lottery winners. Just before Christmas, a winning Powerball ticket worth over $529,000 was sold at ShopRite in Hammonton. On December 26th, a $50,000 Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at ShopRite in West Berlin. On December 30th, a winning lottery ticket worth over $270,000 was sold at ShopRite in Rio Grande.

As of Tuesday morning, the current Mega Millions jackpot sits at $432 million for the drawing later tonight. The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing is currently at $410 million.
