Somers Point Man Killed in EHT Car Crash

A Somers Point man was killed in an early morning car crash Tuesday in Egg Harbor Township.

Egg Harbor Township Police say Robert M. Woods, 75, was traveling southbound on Schoolhouse Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

Woods was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.
