They say, "No news is good news."

I don't know they are, but I think they are wrong.

So far, there's not been a peep about a summer Atlantic City Country Beach Concert, and I don't think it looks good.

(By now, even if I wasn't allowed to tell you about a country concert, I probably would have heard something. I can honestly tell you, I got nothin'.....)

In the past few years, we've enjoyed some great country music summer concerts on the Atlantic City Beach with performers like Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, The Zac Brown Band, Sam Hunt, Brantley Gilbert, and more.

This year.....it's like you can hear a pin drop on the boardwalk.

It's not like there won't be any beach concerts this summer. "The Warped Tour" is coming to the beach at the end of June, but, yep, "That Ain't Country..." It will be, though, the biggest beach concert to date, in terms of attendance.

While country music isn't hitting the beach this summer, it will be close to the beach.

The Hard Rock will play host to the likes of Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Little Big Town, and Brad Paisley this summer. Ocean Casino Resort is jumping into the water, too, with the likes of Brooks and Dunn, Reba McEntire, Jake Owen, and Scotty McCreery.

While nothing appears to be rumbling, we should keep our fingers crosses for 2020.

On the other hand, I've been wrong before....
