Toms River Reality TV Star Latest Celebrity To Confirm COVID-19

While the rate of transmission and total volume of positive COVID-19 tests in New Jersey has been going down the last few weeks, this Toms River (Silverton) resident is letting the world know she's had a positive test for COVID-19.  Here's what we know and here's what she's doing.

Fresh off multiple appearances and a huge ad campaign that aired during last Sunday's Super Bowl, Nicole Polizzi (aka Snooki), the former 'Jersey Shore' and 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' star is making headlines again by spreading the news on Valentine's Day of a positive COVID-19 test via Instagram.  She says that she's positive, but the rest of her family is negative.  So, she's living in isolation and says she's being very cautious.

Besides the Super Bowl ad campaign, the past year has been a quiet one for Snooki. She purchased a home in the Silverton area of Toms River and she left the cast of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.' So while the rest of the cast was filming at various locations she was not.

What are her symptoms?  "My symptoms started out as just a bad sinus cold. Headache, Stuffy nose & mild cough. Then I felt super tired and ended up napping all day which made me go get tested.  Today I just feel groggy. I ended up losing my taste and smell last night. It’s fricken weird. I had a greasy cheese pizza & couldn’t taste a damn thing. WHAT A SIN."  I agree.  Take care Snooki and best wish and best of health to you and your family.
