Two from Lower Twp., NJ, Charged With Drug Distribution
Authorities in Cape May County say two people from Lower Township have been charged following a drug distribution investigation.

According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland, his office, along with several other law enforcement agencies, executed a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of East Wilde Avenue in Villas last Wednesday, April 13th. From that house, cops seized approximately three ounces of cocaine and 600 prescription pills with a street value of around $7,500.
35-year-old Yenmarie Soto-Maldonado and 32-year-old Miguel Rivera, both from Villas, were arrested and charged with third-degree possession of CDS, second-degree distribution of CDS, fourth-degree possession/distribution of drug paraphernalia, and other illegal drug-related offenses.
Soto-Maldonado was being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility while Rivera was released on a summons.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
