Two people were injured in a crash on the White Horse Pike in Galloway Tuesday afternoon.

According to an investigation conducted by the Galloway Township Police Department, Gerald Adams of Delair, NJ, was attempting to make a left turn from the White Horse Pike onto Cologne Avenue when he turned in front of a car being driven by Richard Preuster III of Hightstown. The impact caused Adams' Jeep to spin into a SUV, driven by Melissa Plavchak of Hammonton, that was stopped for traffic near the intersection.

Preuster was entrapped in his vehicle and extricated by Pomona and Germania Fire Departments. He was transported to ARMC-City for treatment of serious injuries. Adams was taken to ARMC Mainland with moderate injuries. Plavchak was not injured in the crash.
