There are many reasons for neck pain -  improper posture, injuries to cervical disc disease, or just normal wear and tear of the aging process. While many conditions respond well to nonoperative treatments, some cases may require surgery for cervical artificial disc replacement. 

Cervical artificial disc replacement  is a relatively new process involving the removal of a diseased cervical disc and replacing it with an artificial one, as well as eliminating any residual disc fragments or bone spurs.
