NJ Ice-Cream Lovers Urged NOT To Buy This Walmart Frozen Dessert
Believe it or not, I'm not usually one to indulge in sweets. Nope, if I'm feeling a little rebellious when it comes to my diet, you'll sooner see me choose a soft pretzel or some other salty snack over dessert. There is one sweet treat, however, that I'm an absolute SUCKER for.
Hello, my name is Jahna, and I absolutely ALWAYS scream for ice cream.
I'd rather ice cream than cake for my birthday anytime. If I ever wanted to have a big wedding, I can guarantee you I probably wouldn't have a regular cake.... it'd be an ice cream cake. Bottom line is, I eat ice cream whenever, wherever, no matter the time of year.
In case you haven't figured it out, I don't really keep anything else sweet in my house besides ice cream. It's the only exception. I know I'm not the only one. Ice cream can turn any of my bad days into happy endings.
New Jersey residents are being urged to steer clear of certain ice cream treats at the grocery store. If you're anything like me and keep some of your favorites in the house, think twice before purchasing this one. What's scary is that this particular ice cream treat is really popular with kids.
Some of them even eat at least one of these a day.
Beware of Walmart's Ice Cream Sandwiches!
A video has been uploaded to TikTok that has since been shared thousands of times highlighting the disgusting goo that food distribution companies are calling "ice cream" that lives in between the two pastry patties in an ice cream sandwich. The vanilla "ice cream" in the ice cream sandwich DOESN'T MELT!
It's disgusting.
The video shows that leaving an ice cream sandwich out to melt doesn't do anything but turn the center of the sandwich yellow. Now, these are specifically the ice cream sandwiches sold at Walmart. Honestly, I don't know how you can watch it without getting nauseous. Take a look:
This is exactly why it's SO IMPORTANT to read the labels of the food you buy in the grocery store. That is NOT real ice cream. Who knows WHAT that is, but if I had kids, I wouldn't want them putting that thing anywhere near their mouths.
Won't be buying those ever again. Will you?
