Picture this: a rogue innertube zipping down the streets of Wildwood on a chilly winter day. You're bummed out and exhausted from dealing with the winter blues when all of a sudden, a yellow innertube comes rolling down the street like it got away from a 4-year-old in the middle of July.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but crack up at simply the thought of it. It's all about the timing and vibes. It feels like we've been stuck in the dead of winter for MONTHS now. That's not true, of course. We've only been dealing with frigid temperatures like these for a few weeks now. I can't help but wonder where the heck is summer? Are you just as ready for summer 2025 as I am?

For anyone who has spent significant time at the shore, it's a sign—like Punxsutawney Phil seeing his shadow and predicting summer’s almost here. It's a random and goofy moment of pure joy. At least, that's what I felt after watching the video of that exact scenario make the rounds on Facebook.

It's a reminder that even though we're chilly and miserable right now, Wildwood beach days are right around the corner! It's a tiny glimmer of hope in the dead of winter. I know, I know... I'm so dramatic

Everyone's been craving the return of summer fun at the shore, right? I can't be the only one...

This is just one of those reminders that while we may currently be in the thick of winter, summer isn't too far away. I can almost feel the sand between my toes already. 47295" /> The Wildwood Sun by the Sea Magazine via Facebook[/caption]
