A month long investigation led to the arrest Saturday of a Wildwood man, charged with selling drugs out of a local motel.

Wildwood Police say Joemar Soberal, 25, was arrested after several search warrants were executed. "These search warrants, which targeted a specific apartment at the motel along with several motor vehicles, resulted in the seizure of distribution quantities of heroin packaged for street level sales. In all, approximately 120 bags of heroin with a value of $1,200 were recovered, along with an amount of marijuana."

Soberal was charged with several offenses including possession and intent to distribute several different drugs.

He was arrested, but in accordance with statewide Jail Reform and Directives, he was released pending a court hearing.
