How is a winning lottery ticket sold by mistake?  Here's how...

Dante Castillo of Manchester usually picks his own numbers for the NJ Cash4Life game he plays regularly.  Last week, the clerk at Sam's Night and Day Food Store in Lakewood accidentally gave Castillo a Quick Pick ticket.

Well those automatically-picked numbers won $1 million.

Castillo's ticket matched 5 of the 6 winning numbers.  17, 23, 30, 49 and 55.  The Cash Ball was 1.  That's the only missing number.

Castillo picked to receive the $1 million dollar prize up front instead of $1,000 a week for life.

Amazing.
