Yet Another Pedestrian Struck By Car on Black Horse Pike

Egg Harbor Township Police are investigating another car-pedestrian accident on the Black Horse Pike.

EHT Police say the latest accident happened Monday evening at 8:48pm near the Oh St. Joseph Resort Hotel in the West Atlantic City section of the Township.

Police have released these details of the accident:

A 2016 Hyundai Tucson, operated by Ann Bucciero, 63 years of age from Ventnor Heights, was traveling westbound on the Black Horse Pike. An as yet unidentified male pedestrian was walking northbound across the Black Horse Pike. While crossing the Black Horse Pike, the pedestrian walked directly into the lane of travel and was struck by the vehicle operated by Mrs. Bucciero in the outside lane of travel.

Police say the pedestrian sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Traffic citations are pending and the accident remains under investigation.
