Looks like people didn't heed our warning issued yesterday when we reported the red flag fire warning from the National Weather Service.

A fire broke out yesterday near Fort Dix military base in Burlington County, NJ around 2:30 p.m. 6ABC.com reports that the fire is still ablaze. More than one hundred Firefighters have been working since yesterday afternoon to contain and extinguish the fire that's, so far, spread over 1,200 acres in Browns Mills.

The fire broke out around the section of the base near Juliustown Road according to BurlingtonCountyTimes.com. This fire ignites only a few days after the Pine Barrens fire in Penn State Forest. So far, no buildings have been affected, but road closures are in place until the blaze is contained.
