Chipotle Just Got Better! [VIDEO]
Welcome to the very first episode of my new series called "JUST FOOD.", where I give you some healthy alternatives to some of your FAVORITE meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and yes... desert included).
Now I don't know about you guys, but I've never had Chipotle. That is until I hit my junior year of college when I finally caved into the trend. And let me tell you... if my bank account allowed it, I would get a burrito bowl every. single. day.
Other then being a broke college kid, why can't I have Chipotle everyday? Is that not socially acceptable because it's considered fast food? Well, here's how you can make "Chipotle" at home, EVERYDAY (if you wish), with healthy and fresh ingredients!
Here's what you'll need:
- 1/2 cup of brown rice
- 6 oz of protein (chicken, steak, ground turkey)
- 1/3 cup of chopped green peppers
- 1/4 cup of finely diced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of black beans
- 4 slices of avocado (half of a half)
- 1 slice of lime
- 1 table spoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
If you mess up, don't worry. It's JUST FOOD.
