Lacey Township police report a drunk driving incident resulting in serious injuries after a pedestrian was hit by a drunk driver over the weekend.

To make matters worse, NJ.com reports after the victim was struck, the car didn't even stop to make sure she was okay. The report says that luckily, the driver was finally caught around Haines Street near Route 9.

As if drunk driving wasn't bad enough, the driver was allegedly also active on his cell phone when the incident occurred. The police also released information regarding the driver's license status (or lack-thereof). Turns out, in addition to being charged with leaving the scene of an accident, drunk driving, and driving while using a phone, he was also charged for not having a license.
