New Jersey State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two suspects involved in a theft and a hit-and-run.

State Police say it all happened early Sunday, September 25 in Upper Deerfield Township, Cumberland County.

Police were alerted to the Golden Pigeon Diner on Landis Avenue, where two men had left without paying their restaurant bill. An investigation found that the men left the restaurant in a  silver SUV. On their way out of the parking lot their vehicle struck a white BMW in the lot.

Police describe the two men as follows:

"One suspect is described as an Hispanic male, medium build, with dark hair. He was wearing an open long-sleeve buttoned-down shirt with a white t-shirt and necklace underneath. The other suspect is described as an Hispanic male, medium to large build, with dark hair. He was wearing a white short-sleeve buttoned-down shirt with dark vertical stripes."

If you can help with the identification or location of the suspects, you're urged to call the State Police's Bridgeton station at 856-451-0101. Police say anonymous tips are welcomed.
