Cape May Identified As Charming American Town You Should Visit ASAP

When you drive over the bridge into Cape May, you can immediately see that this place is different.

The architecture - the many Victorian houses - are like no other place.

It's America's oldest seashore resort - and it just has that "feel."

Front porches are a part of almost ever house. Rocking chairs and Adirondack chairs sit on those porches, and it's a throw-back to many years ago.

Horse drawn carriages roll through the downtown, and the Washington Street Mall is a must-visit shopping area.

There are bed and breakfasts all around, and of course, the beaches are outstanding.

If you plan it right, you can be on a beach and watch the sunrise, and move to another beach to watch the sunset.

All of these things add to the charm that is Cape May, New Jersey.

National Website Agrees With Cape May Lovers

The folks at Delish.com have named Cape May as one of their Charming American Towns You Haven't Heard of But Must Visit ASAP.

I'm not sure of the "never heard of part", but the rest is right on the mark.

About Cape May, Delish says:

"For a truly relaxing waterside vacation, it doesn't get better than Cape May. Stay at one of the quaint guest homes on the water and stroll along the endless rows of docks. "

It also points out the variety of things to do in Cape May, including whale watching, and visiting a winery.

Cape May. Love it!
